Aaron Clevenson has been doing astronomy for 45 years. He is currently the Director of the Insperity Observatory in Humble, Texas. Aaron is also one of the Astronomical League’s Observing Program Directors. He is the treasurer and a past president of the North Houston Astronomy Club, and was a professor of astronomy at Lone Star College for 18 years. He is an Astronomical League Master Observer – Platinum Level, Binocular Master Observer, and Master Imager.
His goal is to “See it all!’ He says that “Although he has been working on this for a very long time, he seems to not be getting any closer to that goal.”

“Southern Skies and the May 2024 Aurora”
A two-part talk on the wonders of the southern skies and the phenomenal May 2024 aurora. Come join me on a journey to the universe that we have all been missing. Many of us have never observed south of the equator. There are some amazing celestial jewels for those who take the adventure. The purpose of the talk is to inspire you to seek out those unseen skies.
